How can you best contribute to the fields of progressive education and/or global social work?
I try to contribute to global education by networking with others around the globe and sharing cultures. Teaching overseas has helped me a great deal. Together we can generate new thoughts, ideas, innovative ways of thinking/learning, and continually-refined best practices. Traveling to other countries and their schools also helps give me a wider perspective on life and the field of education.
In terms of global social work, I think that my work with the International Orphanage Relief Society and Voices of the Next Generation have helped reduce hunger and poverty worldwide. There is so much to be done to help people in need, work toward ending discrimination, and so much more. At the Progressive Education and Global Social Work Institute, you have yet another chance to do just that!
What are your professional long-term goals and dreams?
I want to continue to travel, become a superintendent, continue my work with nonprofit organisations that help reduce global suffering (i.e., poverty, famine, wars, needless deaths that could have been prevented with vitamins, vaccinations, etc., discrimination, and much more!), and to continue to be a loving father, husband, son, brother, and friend.
